Roy would toy with Beterbiev, nailing him cleanly, at will until Beterbiev gave up, or couldn't take any more. A lot of folks managed to go the distance with Roy because they went into survival mode. Beterbiev would keep coming until he couldn't come anymore. Roy stops him.

I love Beterbiev, and I enjoy watching him fight but Roy was on another level all together.

Somebody mentioned the David Telesco fight Roy punished that man fiercely.

Prime Roy beats anyone. He didnt even seem like he was trying half the time. Too fast. Too good with that unorthodox style he employed.

Roy should have retired after Ruiz. That weight drop ruined him and tbh he was already going for too long. Woulda been right up there with Floyd in all GOAT discussions.

Like Rogan said, his fights were public executions, but to me they looked like sparring sessions, he looked bored in there sometimes, he even let his friend score a kd on him just for kicks.

his resumé isn’t even that bad. toney, hopkins, mccallum (somewhat shot but still highly ranked), griffin, ruiz, tarver, tate, hill, etc. not to mention he beat the GOAT clinton woods. it’s an ATG resumé, though not as strong as some in the top 30-40.

huh? surely you are not comparing the hand and foot speed of Roy to Canelo? even relative to the opponents, the gulf is enormous. Its doubtable a 190lb Canelo would even be faster than Usyk. Roy arguably had the fastest hands of all time and you are talking about Canelo? lul!
