Interesting that you say that.I'd say that Hoost wasn't a true heavyweight in terms of size though. He would probably have been a light heavyweight if not a middleweight if they had more divisions back then. Most of his losses in K-1 were to bigger guys like Le Banner, Aerts, Bonjasky, Schilt, Greco, etc.
Fighting guys taller and heavier is never easy. That's also part of the reason why he got overpowered by huge Bob Sapp.
I need to get out my old dvds.
I have met both Bonjasky ans Hoost, +10yrs ago. They are both comfortably 6'4". I am 198cm. It always fascinates me when people get obsessed with height so I use myself as a marker.
From memory, I, am fairly sure that Remy and Hoost were around 15stone but in Kickboxing weights (not MMA), that is HW. They'd have to get even skinnier, which is tough.
Hoost had comically thin lower legs.
Remy had stronger legs but not bulky up top.
They are true heavyweights man. For sure.
You can't introduce fictional weight classes. Maybe K1 specified Super Heavyweights different to the rest of the world but nothing would be different now. They'd still be HW only today.
