I think Bisping is a bit big for hughes to slam him and bash him up like he did everyone else.

Yep I'd tend to agree, Hughes was a bit of relic even in the mid 00's, the kind of fighter who had been knocked off the top of divisions like HW years before.

Bisping was at the level of a guy ranked well outside the top 10. He got dropped twice by a 46yr old man who was on a huge slide ranked outside the top #10.

He caught lightning with Rockhold, but it doesn't change the fact that he wasn't a top ten fighter. Hughes was a P4P fighter just one weight class below.

It isn't a good match-up but he's that much better than that version of Bisping he likely would have won. Shit: Woodley, Prime Lawler, Condit, Shields, Wonderboy, Masvidal... They all would have beated one eyed Bisping.
