Prime Dan Henderson vs Prime Chuck Liddell

This would have been an amazing fight! I gotta go with Chuck but I love both fighters!
 
Hendo. If a past his prime Hendo can put Fedor to sleep then chuck would not be a problem.
 
Both had great chins, both great strikers with imo Hendo a little more power ...... but Hendo has a much better ground game that I think he implements an is the difference. ....... decision Dan to a win
 
I gotta say Dan takes it. Chuck is a better striker, but he's not gonna KO a prime Hendo. Hendo could absolutely KO him, though. But I think Decision Dan takes the UD over Chuck.
 
All I know is somebody's getting KTFO. I'd love to have seen this fight happen for real.

Hendo all fucking day. No way prime Hendo's chin fails him against Chuck and no way any version of Chuck's chin stands up to an H-bomb.
 
It really depends on when they fight and if Henderson is on PEDs or not. TRT Hendo would win, without it, and prime vs prime, Chuck wins. If they fought now, I'd say Hendo would win if Chuck's chin is still as bad as it was at the end of his career. I'd still watch.
 
Hendo. At any era. Early Hendo would've decisioned him. Later Hendo would've KO'd him.

Fighter X, juiced vs UFC Fighter, always clean.
 
Even on TRT, Hendo gets beat up and loses a UD or TKO loss.


Chuck was just better in his prime. People forget how hard he hit, how good his TDD was, and how good of a chin he had.
 
Chuck has faced similar power in Overeem but I still thin Hendo would H-bomb him to sleep in 2nd/3rd round.
 
Hendo knocks him out cold at some point. Maybe Chuck gets a flash knockdown early in the fight but he's not gonna finish Dan, no way.

What are you talk about? It's a fact Hendo was on PEDs. All of his most impressive wins were when he was on TRT. As soon as he was off of it his performance level and weight dropped like a rock. Hendo was on TRT in Strikeforce and the ufc. I didn't say anything about ufc fighters beng always being clean, you are just jumping to silly conclusions. ufc fighters were probably way more juiced up than guys in Pride as most of them didn't fail tests when they became random but ufc guys did all the time.
 
This is a fight I would have loved to see. I think Prime Dan takes it.
 
Prime Dan's chin could handle Prime Chuck's power, imo, but I don't know about how the fight would play out. I lean toward Prime Hendo.
