Prime Tim Sylvia wasn't so bad like some people made him out to be.

I can see Tim Sylvia beating any version of Overeem, other than Ubereem. Hell, even Ubereem, you never know with his chin, though Uberchin is not Overeem Chin.

I know that. And current Ben Rothwell is a good fighter. But prime Tim Sylvia wouldn't be a top 5 fighter in the current UFC, and Prime AA was 1-2 against him.

Maybe a better way to get to my point: Current AA is better than "Prime" AA.

And Ubereem would kill "Prime" AA.

I think a prime Sylvia would be top 15 today..But you're right he wasn't really a bad fighter. He did do well in his time, although he did take a dump later in his career. Rothwell nowadays would beat prime Sylvia.
