Pride: Stephen Quadros/Mauro Ranallo & Bas Rutten/Frank Trigg

UFC: Joe Rogan & Mike Goldberg/Joe Anik

I prefer Pride honestly, both teams are informative but I just prefer their demeanor. Rogan is extremely knowledgable and I often learn things while listening to him, but his over exuberance can be off putting. The constant "OHHHHH!" At every glancing shot has gotten pretty old, and he often seems to be too eager to call what's about to happen, especially when he thinks a fight is about to be over - and is often wrong. I really like Bas; he expressed admiration without totally losing his shit haha. Don't get me wrong, passion is good - I just prefer the way the Pride team channels their enthusiasm.

UFC is basically WWE with some boxing rip-offs, 10-point system etc

Trigg is the best thing to happen to commentating. I love how he'd be comparing his technique to the fighters that were in there. "Well, if I were in that position, I'd do this....but I'd never be foolish enough to get myself caught up there." He seemed to have all the answers and was invincible in his eyes. It was good times.

They're knowledgeable but they don't get overly biased like Rogan, nor are they completely clueless like Goldberg.

This is the best duo. Fight Professor was the man and Bas is Bas.

I prefer my MMA to be a fair and not fixed contest, so UFC. I was going to comment on freak fights but UFC has 125 & 135 men's divisions
