3 is a greater number than 2. It is closer to 5 than 2 is aswell. so having won more rounds, that is, an amount closer to the total amount of rounds that are in a the fight, would make dricus the winner.

Dude, It's the same thing as his loss to cannonier it should not surprise you at all. When sean needs to walk forward and strike, he doesnt. Dricus looks like the aggressor in a fight that had very close rounds and dricus wins the fight.

I know you don't like it, but judges aren't robots that calculate strikes. Perhaps if the fight were scored by ai, Strickland would win, but the optics of the fight are dricus winning. the striking diff in the 4 round is 4, and dricus has 3 takedowns. even with no control 3 take downs is worth more. It's about optics, not just numbers. this is how TJ beats sandhagen. This is how Benson beats edgar. they are better at convicing the judges things are going their way. And it's easy because sean is running away most of the fight. smart fighters know how to win a round, sean doesn't fight like that. not just tonight, but often. Even a judge scored the hermanson fight against him (which is silly) but it's for a similar reason, It's one of the detriments of having a highly defensive style. If a fight is close, it'll go to the aggressor more often.

Sean should've called the foul and stopped the action. That was the most blatant headbutt that went unnoticed that I've ever seen. Dricus intentionally did it. Dricus headbutted Sean in the same fashion as Conor throwing shoulder strikes. It was a disgusting cowardly act.

Judges need to be made aware of this kind of thing. So does the ref, this should have been a point deduction.

Man, I am pretty bummed about Strickland losing. Because he's the most refreshing champion we've had in a long time. I guess I wanted to see him keep on talking and just sort of see what he would say next. Maybe because I really liked how he's reminding America what it means to be his own man and not afraid to say what's on his mind. There's so many people afraid to stand up or talk about what they really believe in. And now that he's not champion any more, it's just a little bit different.

Dana was never my friend but he was right when he said Strickland won the fight. And he really was sort of robbed. DDP didn't do enough to win the fight. He fought a good fight but it wasn't enough especially as the challenger. Strickland inflicted massive damage.

He fought Du Plessis the same way he fought Izzy. The problem with that was he didn't fight Izzy. I think Sean did enough to win the fight, and I think the headbutt that I saw factored. I'm not jumping on Sean' headbutt wagon, I just know what I saw. It was a close fight that really came down to who was judging it.

At this point in my MMA watching career, I'm on no wagons. 99% of the fighters around today have been fighting for UFC for almost a decade and I have no idea who they are; I watch fights for fights. Sean won that fight.
