Mustafi/Holding/Xhaka were decent signings to be fair, though Mustafi and Xhaka were overpriced as hell.

Xhaka was not. It's arteta all over again. Would be a decent player in a team where he's not expected to be the last line of defence. Mustafi is ok but they need a much better player, maybe they're not out there as Man City have struggled too. Holding looks promising but he could have a long hard career with little to no protection in front of him.
