I'd be interested to see how much we'd get for him. Guy is on 300k p/w.

At the same time it is a unique situation in that if he wants to revive his career he'll have to take a huge salary cut.......seems like the type who'd sack it off for 2 years, tbh.

Heard we're getting 40m offers for Greenwood, which seems bizarre. Assumed we'd be writing him off.

Forgot about him. He's apparently done alright in Spain and has suitors, I'd defo take 40m or so and run with it - we can't bring him back, strike while the iron is hot.

We're going to struggle until we get the team fit and the goalkeeper situation sorted out. Pope being out for the season has done us.

Not expecting any points in the league for January. After that, though, we have players coming back, and our fixtures look a lot better. Having only one game a week will make a big difference.

Need a keeper asap, though

Yeah you severely need a number 1 in this transfer window. If you don't get one, you're fucked IMO. Dubravka and Karius are fucking awful options. Who would you go for, personally?

I'd take any decent shot stopper right now bruv. Dubravka is finished and is shipping goals for fun.

I know we have been scouting Mamardashvili from Valencia, and he was a summer target for us, but I think we need to spend now and go big on a keeper.
