Given his proclamation that Liverpool and City's era was coming to an end with his arrival, I am not sure this guy is as grounded as you think. That said, I think he thought he was getting a better recruitment than has wound up happening especially de Jong
Nah, ten Hag didn’t come off as arrogant in that presser at all. He was asked whether any team could ever win the Premier League while Klopp and Guardiola were still coaching in the Premier League. He compliments them but states the obvious—that an era can always come to an end. He didn’t come in and declare that their eras were over and even admitted that United was a project. The sensationalized headline made that comment out to be something it wasn’t.

No way he figured it would happen in 1 transfer window, but I can’t imagine he thought recruitment would be this dismal. I don’t think ten Hag has his hands entirely clean here, though it’s tough to tell how he’s being handcuffed by the higher ups.

It’s starting to look like Dortmund cashed in on another fraud, as well.

Remember last summer most of us agreed Bellingham was the better prospect, but fuck me, don't think anyone expected Sancho to underwhelm so much.

Another one who could be stinking it up for 4 years because we saw fit to give him 350k p/w!!!!

Madness. Fair enough for guys like Salah and de Bruyne who've been world class for 5 years and won big trophies but we pay all these failures like money is going out of fashion.

I know most of you disagreed, but I still think him not getting minutes for England was telling. Unless attitude is an issue, which is another red flag, a truly world class player would walk into that side, no matter how poor the manager.

The worst part is that United are stuck in a cycle and are too stupid to figure a way out. The team has so many needs that when it comes time to renew massive contracts for underperforming players, United can’t afford to lose them and just throw more money on the table (and then make little effort to fix the more pressing needs). I’ve got no doubt that Rashford ends up with a new and improved deal in the next year.

Cunts should be liquidated not playing in the Prem with their blood money players.

Vorm BLESS. Swansea Legend!

fuck Vorm, filthy Jack cunt

Also he won more trophies while at Swansea than at Spurs LMAO

dead team

Assuming that Southgate is just retarded was the more logical conclusion at the time, to be fair. But I also have to say that United is a terrible environment for any player right now and has been for a while. I thought Sancho would manage to shine more anyway, but he would also have it much easier almost anywhere else, even Tottenham or Arsenal. Think I mentioned it back then, that I didn't like the United move because of that. But if he was truly top class he would find a way, that's true.

football gods are not looking down on west ham today. goal disallowed, crossbar twice, and missed penalty
