- Martinez to partner Maguire in CB. Visibly look 5ft 5in tall, but play reasonably well.
- Eriksen to come on for Bruno and look a much better #10 than him.
- Midfield to be fucking atrocious.
- Ronaldo to start at CF, but won't score. Rashford will look diabolical and be subbed off for Elanga.

I’d rather see Garnacho getting minutes than Elanga.

While I've thought the same thing a time or two, I'm not sure how that would work. Do players frequently get that large a signing bonus? And does it affect financial fair play?
Barca held out for more money, which we eventually agreed to pay. The first and most persistent thought I had was "why don't Barca use that 50 or 60 million to pay Frenkie?" One online video I saw said this method would still count against Barca's wage bill, which is why many say he has to go already.
Would Man U paying him hurt our FFP? I know the Prem has different rules, but it would seem that adding most of his last 2 years wages to what I'm sure would be a very generous new wage packet could impact the balance sheet. If nothing else, it would jack his relative wages way over the top compared to the rest of the rooster.* edit should be roster, but I just larfed at myself so you can too.

This is just embarrassing for United. Their worst Premier League team ever, and the most needed rebuild is wrecked because they don’t want to pay the extra cash* for their main target their direct rival may be willing to pay. They’re in for some massive riots if United drop points against Brighton.
