Cucurela 50m to Chelsea then.

Quite impressed City refused to get raped over his price, tbh.

50m for a FB on the back of one decent season in the mid table is pretty much madness.

absolutely ridiculous he got snubbed. It was bad enough when Modric won it for having 2 good games at the WC, shambolic that Lewandowski got snubbed

They were like “covid, no award” even though just about all the major leagues finished as normal. Bizarre.

To be fair, he's been fairly highly touted for a long time now and putting in consistently good season for like 4 years or so, granted for small clubs, but he looked great for Getafe.. he also has a shit load more youth caps from U16's up to the National Spain team,
Played a game as a LB for Barcelona when he was 18 in the Copa Del Rey Final.. Wan-Bissaka was supposedly a winger at that point in his career(18) and had 1 youth cap for Congo then lol.

Very rare BBC jump the gun!
Evening mate. Total gash, typical glazers, meh, half decent, rate our transfer activity? Can’t imagine you rating it higher than that when I don’t.

As every window, glaring holes not addressed, slow to do business while others snap up the players we want. Players rumoured to leave apparently but what now? Where?

And Phil Jones is our Sam Alvey, just less smiley. Kaiser Soze’s the lot of em.

edit - don’t mean to sound negative though! A bit more promise this season. Hopefully

Not too pessimistic. Tbh, next season is a write off for me. Any success is a bonus. We are so far off the pace think we really just need to take baby steps. Will judge the new regime in May 2024 as depressing as that is.

That’s realism mate, an honest assessment of where we’re at. To say anything but is delusional. I’ve not seen any United fans say anything different, more negative if anything.

Clean slate, fight back, earn some respect this season, a couple of good buys would really help. Aim for 4th, tough ask now, midfielder, centre forward at the minimum and we could fight for it.

Anything but the gutless shower of shite of last season and alright then.
