A how can anyone look at this summer and say this team looks better on paper? The team is noticeably weaker at forward and in the midfield.

Everyone is seemingly counting on Frenkie de Jong arriving. I think United have probably gotten assurances that he’ll join, which is why United have put a glaring weakness on hold all summer, but it also wouldn’t surprise me if a team came in last minute and changed his mind.

Dembele has a chance to be best player in Europe if he keeps playing the way he has lately. Hard to believe but he has impressed me in these last few games. Let's see if he pulls through.

He was fire in the Bundesliga and Chelsea always seems to fuck strikers up. Other than Drogba and Costa they have had so many strikers flop it's nuts.

I reckon Eddie will have a plan for him if they are going for him. Look what he did with Joelinton.

We know that’s not happening. FDJ is even a coin toss. Imagine how bad this summer looks when he ends up at Chelsea, and United are left desperate and willing to pay Maguire money for back up options like Ruben Neves.

Maybe me being an optimist, but I think Fred could have a good season next to a better CM, as well. I’d also be interested to see if Eriksen gets deployed as an 8, as as well. Looks like he’ll be starting as a 10 today with VDB at CM.

I think it's too much and I'm not sold on him either. If we sign him though he could be what we need right now as he scores goals and creates.

Chong has been abysmal. The only one who has been impressive so far is a Alejandro Garnacho. Thigh-high Rojo looks very comfortable on the ball but hasn’t had much to do.
