Shook one accepted. 6 month av bet me and Red would maul you two mental midgets.

Ronaldo out, 5-goals- in-the-Austrian-league-teenage striker in!

Far prefer to have this guy, who I had never heard of a week ago, than Ronaldo.

Kinda guy you want to punt 25m on, not 60.

Going into a season with two strikers who combined for 6 league goals last season is too risky for me. I’d rather see if ten Hag can make Ronaldo work this season and look into a ready made striker lined up for next season (or at the very least spend the entire transfer window chasing one).

I don’t have a problem with getting this guy if he’s not being considered a replacement, but the supposed €55M is absurd.

Considering the Greenwood situation we need another striker (or forward at least) even if Ronaldo stays, imo. Not going to spunk 80m on one so got to be canny.

Still can’t imagine Ronaldo will stay. He obviously wants to go, but, contrary to what United might report, I get the feeling they’d be fine with going to.

Problem is, if he does stay, he’s playing.

Rashford, Martial and Sancho aren’t likely going to the WC, right? Can’t make my mind up if that’ll benefit them or not.

It’s madness. We need another forward even with Ronaldo on the roster. It’s the same thing with the midfield. The team needed another midfielder prior to Pogba and Matic leaving.

I think not going to the WC will be a benefit. All three know that in order to make the team, they need to play like mad men in the first couple months of the season, so hopefully the motivation gets something out of them. Not traveling to Qatar and continuing to train with the team gives them some rest and more time to settle under the new manager. Otherwise, they’re training under Southgate/Deschamps for a month while getting limited minutes anyways.
