Don’t care about him being “PL proven” or not. I think Martínez is awesome and Malacia has encouraging potential. But Antony in an honest and fair world would be 50-60 tops. Ajax want a lot of money not necessarily because they rate him that high but because they don’t want to sell him at all right now. They lost half their starting lineup from last year and there wouldn’t be much time to find an adequate replacement. They still need some quality players for the league/CL and have made plenty of money from sales already. He also has 3 years left on his deal too. They have all the leverage.

If United didn’t wait until 2 weeks before the window closes to sign anyone that costs more than the Glazers yearly dividend they take out of the club they could have got him for cheaper months ago. I’m 100% certain if they tried to sign him next summer he’ll be cheaper then this regardless how well he plays

That being said they really need another attacking player badly. Elanga in a perfect world would be loaned out or playing in cup/EL games, not getting PL starts (Greenwood would also be a celibate man of faith/Mormon soaker in this perfect world). I don’t remember a single thing Rashford did today, Martial injured and Ronaldo doesn’t even want to be there. Being a RW + prior exp with manager is a perfect combo, even though it’s a wasteful investment that could have been executed much better.

I dont think United waited, i think they are very poorly run. They have no plans.
We have a saying here : " For Englishman to see." ... not to know , to see. Im fairly certain you understand what i mean.

Unfortunalty, United are in a self created hole, and it will take years to come out of it it, even if they have good management. Which, atm, they dont.
Thats a big concern. Panic buying 30 year old Casemiro for 60 millions, for Englishman to see, its far from being the solution, because its a short term solution, when United needs to think in the long run.
But supporters have no patience, United are a huge club, used to win...
No CL football, everybody knows that anyone who signs for United atm will only be thinking about the money, which makes things even worse, and etc ...

United have one solution and one solution only, imo ... sell the dead wood, and invest in your scouting department ... they have to take the gamble of investing in "unknown", young players, and build a squad from there. I dont see any other chance.

Glazers out, btw. That would be the best start.

Swans is really nice in parts.

Bumped into a girl who went to the same uni as me at the hosp last week (and was a lesbae in bestie's footy team) who gave me a lift to the nicer beaches today that you need a car to get to. I woz like "u look really familiar, did u go to X?! and she went yerrrrrr!"

I’m looking to take bits and pieces of some soccer videos to make a few highlight videos. Any ideas if there are any free/cheap apps to do this? I’ve tried a few things online that haven’t worked out. I just need something I can access on an i-phone that allows me to use videos I already have.
