Maureen had to mention the Lovren incident in his presser and the Pool fans can't let the bus parking go.

This rivalry is dead tbh. Doesn't mean the same without the Gerrards and Scholes etc.

Someone’s jelly cause Napoli rested some key starters in a loss to City and his beloved Milan lost to Inter during the weekend... Maybe he should continue ranting about Bonucci’s lack of performances and the Europa League were Milan are trashing everyone in sight because they can’t in Serie A.

I mean, seriously, in Napoli’s defense, for the 50th time, the CL is just another comp for them, the Scudetto is the key.

Sarri wasn’t even going to start Mertens and was going to start Milik over him and as the replies mention, 2 of his key midfielders in Jorginho and Allan weren’t even starters.

Couldn't do it on a wet Tuesday night at Stoke though could he.

UK ex player "pundits" were even worse, complaining abt Spurs. If Mou's Utd got that CL point away at Bernabeu they'd have been noshing on his knob & calling it a Masterclass for a whole month.

Poch ended game with a midfield 3 of: Sissoko - Winks - Rose .. and Winks matched Modric step for step.

Best line i heard today was that City look like a drunk version of Pep's treble winning Barca side lol

Speaking of:

Also a 1-1 in the CL at the Bernabéu is a great result no matter who it is that pulls it off specially when Madrid’s solo goal was a PK.

Mad I missed all the games, wanted to see them. Lots of good matchups. Overslept and I even have the day off tonight too... Doesn't look like anything TOO surprising though, besides Sevilla getting obliterated

Billy Shakespeare getting sacked, bring back Claudiobless! He's overachieving in France this year

did you miss the mid 2000s? They were Arsenal esque at going out in the last 16 and Lyon kept mugging them off. That's as low as it gets for them unfortunately.

Obviously a big team isn't going to have a permanent drop off.

I meant a decline from the high they've been in the past 2 years or so.

Did they? That Chelsea atletico game must have given them ideas about English football being back on top again. Where are the recent good results against big sides in Europe that they aren't impressed.

My point stands. That game was on a thursday. lel.

Monaco lost again tonight. Bottom of their group atm. Sad times. Besiktas 3 wins from 3.
I dont think anyone wants to play away at Besiktas in the KO stage.

Besiktas have some decent players. Babels having a resurgence and older players like Quaresma and especially Pepe are above Turkish league level

not just from losing players but lot of newer players to integrate for Monaco as well. That was always the hardest group to predict for me, especially since Porto are better this year and Leipzig have improved on paper from last year as well
