Terrible news indeed. Last time that happen was in 58 I believe. Man U team crash in Munich. Bobby C survived.
That's a famous one for sure. I thought of Sir Bobby when I read this news.

I remember this one about the Rugby Union Team crashing in the Andes in '72. Horrifying stuff.

What's really sad is the Brazilian team was so close to their destination.

Seeing the news about the plane crash is terrible, thoughts and best wishes to all those affected.

Apparently they were traveling to Columbia to play the 1st leg of the South American version of the UEFA cup final, and went from the Brazilian 4th division to the 1st division in 4 years (maybe 3, maybe 5)

RIP

Class move if true, although what other option was there really?

I watched the film about the rugby team plane crashing in the Andes.

They survived cuz they were huge.

If I travel to chile, am taking @Tules with me.

planes are often regarded as being the 'safest' form of transport but when something goes wrong, you're pretty much done.

Read there are 6 survivors at the moment. Seeing pictures of them on the plane before the flight taking selfies and stuff is so sad
