LAstly, just read it was our fans that kept the ball from Bellerin and were singing he's "not fit to wear the shirt". That's embarrassing.

Yeah, its sad, and the kid is still very young , seems to be a nice humble kid, and imo he does show effort on the pitch. And so if the fans feel he is unfit for Arsenal, then they should be blaming who gave Bellerin that role.
I suppose that this very negative interference from the fans might very well have a negative impact and reflection on Bellerin´s character and maturity growth, not only as a sportsman, but more importantly as a man .... hopefully it wont.
Its just sad and somewhat disheartening watching people misplacing their emotions and judgement , and with that instead of the positivity they long for, they only generate even more negativity.
Im sure there is a reason and that im missing the point, but i honestly dont comprehend why Arsene doesnt tell his fans whats his decision ... anyone?

Yeah, Bellerin puts in 100% every time. It might have been directed at the whole team instead, but who knows?

In terms of Weneger not announcing it, I can only assume it's because he's actually chosen to renew his contract and want to wait until we've had a good run of wins to announce it. The main issue with that is that we've not had anything close to that since Jan.

There aren't any proper football men on our board, so it's the blind leading the autocrat (or at least trying). He's had too much power for too long and nobody knows how to take it from him.

That makes sense, thank you for the reply.
To me it just feels that Arsene is only distancing himself even more from the supporters by not sharing his decision. And imo it also doesnt reveal much confidence in himself, his players, nor the supporters. Of course its also possible im just reading too much into things, or not enough.
From the board, to the coach and to the players, Arsenal really seems to have a tough road ahead, somethings the hardest thing to do is to know when to, and to, let go. And it takes strength to change, but its also true that its thru adversity that one grows stronger.
I often compare clubs to micro nations, and so i believe that the power ultimatly lies in the hands of the supporters, and to enforce a change to something stronger, one must do the right things, at the right times, and for the right reasons.
Thats why this incident with Bellerin feels wrong to me, sure the supporters show alot of heart, which is beautiful and essential, but if the mind isnt right it will be next to impossible to have an effectively assertive and positive result, imo.
Sorry for writing so much, and probably saying so little ! loool ... nevermind me, sometimes i have these pseudo intelectual philosophical phases, preach like tendencies... im kinda fooked in the head is what im saying. :)

Palace beat Chelsea, us and will survive, 3 things that you couldn't do with your best team in decades.

Now that fat Sam's got them ticking they're a well organised unit of average players.
