i definitely think Herrera/Jones/Rojo are miles better than were they were last season. i think the team is definitely playing better as a whole compared to last season, much more cohesively defensively at least in my opinion.

Smalling has been crap for a few years now.
Mata has been at least as good this season as last year.
Martial was overplayed last year, because LvG decimated his forward options. He was okay, but didn't srt the world alight.
Rashford played for 3 months last season. Only played at all because (see above).
Valencia played second fiddle to Darmian for most of last season!!!!!!
Blind was decent last season, been decent this season.
