It's the way he is and tbf he's been rather succesful with it.

The squad is tired so perhaps given the opponent he felt he could just let us drop off for the final 20 and they'd be so inept in front of goal we wouldn't concede. Sadly Chris Smalling is a turrible defender when under pressure lol.

I think overall he's been fine this year in all honesty. Players have let him down in a number of games we've drawn. If he delivers the Europa along with the league cup and we finish 5th or higher then I'd consider that a success albeit an unconventional one given our ambition.

Asamoah is great. Unfortunately he's not a regular starter because of Juve's stacked squad.

I had no idea he was playing in a deeper position now. He and Pogba were great together.

Last season they went into overdrive after 65mins & killed many teams off with their cardio edge

This year seems like the opposite. Add in their mental frailties & they look very beatable the longer a game goes on.

Unlike last year they've had injuries to contend with this season though.
 
Walker yellow clean sheet gone and no Alli bonus points which he doesn't deserve for his dive.

Turned Valencia to a world class fullback. Promoted Rashford from the youth system and made him a complete player. After a slow start Mikhi has become an elite player. Herrera a goat dmf lets face it, Jose bless. Also Bailly, Zlatan and Pogba finally came to THE LEAGUE and all 3 have been really good.
