Good to have on our bench. Need a younger upgrade. Can't rely on him anymore.

Luffly chill choon

yeah

club would bounce back

Being relegated three times would mean 4th league (not sure how it is called in England). That is probably not even "pro" anymore. Bouncing back from this would take ages if it even happens.

As I said above, their Euro performances this season have been decent. Knocked out both Anderlecht and Ajax from CL qualifying. Beat a strong Bayern team. Lost to Atletico by 1-0 and 2-1 (thanks to a 93rd minute Griezmann goal).

They should still beat them though. The Dutch league is down this year and the Belgian league isn't much either (lol Spurs). Outside of the traveling you can easily make a case that St Ettiene are a better team

The Bayern win is good but tbf they didn't play a full squad, and they had already advanced in the group anyway. They beat them 5-0 the first match

Just need to keep it close away, maybe get an away goal and then smash them at OT. With Lyon/Roma and the German teams playing each other it makes their road easier should they advance with them knocking off each other

PL > Championship > League 1 > League 2

League 2 aint that bad. Sure it'll be tough but we'll get back

@Tules has unplugged his brain again. I reckon there's some sort of correlation between him reading DT tweets and making unintelligent/knee jerk posts.

That being said the Championship is really hard, they play a ton of games since there are 24 teams. Unless you're Newcastle and have a lot to spend (and they aren't even in 1st) it's hard to do even with money, look at Aston Villa or QPR they're mid table there, or Leeds being stuck there etc

Sadly, we'll never see it because Wenger wouldn't do it. I'd like to definitely see him given a go ahead of Gabriel. I like Mustafi, but he's too similar to Kos (not as good though, obviously) and I don't think they make the best pairing. I'd like to see Kos and Holding at some point, as they looked good in their few games together.

Holding's also pretty damned good in the air, which is where Mus is lacking most.
Think your current problem is more systemic & down to how easy it is to overload your 4 man defence, than one of any perceived individual mistakes.

Bayern overloaded your full backs to pull a CB away from the centre of your box. Ozil noticed this on the other flank & chipped in to help Hector out wide once early on & they just whipped it straight back out to a wide open Alonso in the centre, who Ozil should've been covering in the mid-block. A pick your poison type scenario, when up against elite teams. As Robben showed us a little later on.

When Nacho plays the oppo attack the half space drawing him inside, which leaves an overlapping wing back/full back open & free out wide. Iwobi is a liability defensively for a 4 man defence.

Having 3 CB's gives you a 5 man defence in transition, what with the wing backs dropping deep. Then if a CB gets drawn out wide to cover a half space runner, you still have 2 CB's in the centre.

Yeah being relegated once is hard enough to come back from, let alone three times

Hope DT organises one
