[AS] Ibrahim Konate has agreed to join Real Madrid, whether this summer or next. Madrid want Konaté, and at zero cost, next summer. However, the possibility of a last-minute move in this market of an offer — never exceeding €20-25 million is gaining momentum at the club.
@Arqueto
Konate to Real this summer, Rodrygo going other way (now that it looks like Isak is not going to Pool). Alaba to Turkey or Saudi Arabia.

Thought you wanted Saliba?

😉

If Xabi starts playing 3-5-2 he can join too.

Saliba-Huijsen-Konate
TAA Carreras
Valverde-Tchouameni
Bellingham

Vini Mbappe

(and if Vini leaves, can put Guler or Mastantuono next to Bellingham.
Garcia next to Mbappe, who is allowed the freedom to drift to left wing).

Isak needs to go; I don't see a way back for him now, but if Liverpool get Guehi and Rodrygo, then surely they don't have the money for Isak? 🤔

Fook knows what is going to happen 🤷‍♂️

Current transfer record is -97.3m, not much for a club that usually goes far in CL.
Add the fact still trying to sell Elliott (market value 30m), Tsimikas (18m), Chiesa (14m).
Also remember they havent spent insane amounts on recent years.

I mean even if they get Guehi and Konate leaves, i dont know.
Sell the 3 players i listed, puts them -35m on netspend. Guehi and Konate transfers cancel each other out.
Rodrygo pricetag is 100m i think. Isak what 150m?
If they do get Rodrygo and Isak (and other transfers i mentioned happen for the amounts listed), they are 285m in the red.

Chelsea 22/23 transfers: bought players 630m and sold 67m.
City used 100m each summer or more for a decade.
Arsenal -216m in the red this summer, -20 previous summer. 23/24: -165m. 22/23: -160m.

I am no math expert but yeah while looking at the way other big english teams spent in recent years, cant rule out Pool being able to buy Rodrygo AND Isak. Dont think its going to happen myself, they get one of them i reckon.

If they do get both, might bet my house, my anal virgity, your house and sister on Pool winning the league and FA Cup.

It's going to take Isak a while to get up to speed no matter what happens. He's fucked up his pre-season and hasn't played any games.

Plonker 🇸🇪 🐀

Scouser in my office said he really doesn't fancy signing him given how he's carried on with you lot this summer. He's definitely knocked his public image badly.

lol it was supposed to be announced in March. The PL have fucked it up and haven't been able to prove anything; they need to find a way to spin it and make it look like they haven't wasted a bunch of money.

Seen a few reasonable Scousers saying the same thing. He's messed it up badly. His agent is already banned from a bunch of clubs for getting players to do a similar thing.
