It could also be a cb. Pool did sign Guehi and that italian kid. Maybe Konate is joining this summer so Pool dont lose another defender as free agent.
Dont forget still no loan deal for Endrick due to the injury.
And even if Endrick leaves, Real has Mbappe and Garcia. Could solve issue of too many forwards (Mbappe, Isak, Garcia) by moving Mbappe to left (or 2nd forward) but that leaves Vini AND Rodrygo on the bench, player of their calibre wont be happy sitting on the bench. Specially with WC next summer.

Positive problem to have. Mbappe, Isak/Haaland, Garcia upfront or Vini and/or Rodrygo stay and a cb is coming in (while Alaba, Rudiger and Militao are great defenders, cant stay healthy + Xabi dont seem to rate Asencio).

Sky reporting that Guehi is staying this season so I doubt they will let Konate go.

Of course it could just be Steve Parish playing games and trying to squeeze more out of Liverpool. :rolleyes:

We see.

But according to The Athletic Xabi has more say on transfers than Carlo or Zizou did and even before he was announced as new manager he did recommend getting Huijsen and Mastantuono.
