All very sus.

Literally think we could/should genuinely challenge for CL places this year.

Probably need at least one of Mainoo, Ugarte and Casemiro to have a very good season.

Equally still that feeling we could be looking for a new manager by Guy Fawkes night.

We’ve got quite a tricky opening 10 games or so, too. Won’t likely feel the benefit of no Europe for the first 2-3 months, neither.
@lewis let INEOS COOK BRUV!

Let Jason Wilcox swing his massive cock around for a laugh and slap Eddie Howe around the chops for no reason.

He's not as bad as people say but the numbers are crazy. 70-80M?

Signed a new 8-year contract last year too on a 100K a week. That's nearly 40M in wages FFS  Chelsea need to send him to Saudi Arabia if they want that money back.

He'll end up bombing you too.

You're getting Calvert Lewin lad. I'm not sure how or why. Bonkers.

A government homelessness minister evicted four tenants from an east London townhouse before hiking the rent by hundreds of pounds per month, it has been reported.

Rushanara Ali, 50,

is said to have increased the rent on the four-bedroom property from £3,300 to £4,000 after telling the previous tenants their lease would not be renewed.

The occupants at the home, just a short distance from the Olympic Park, were reportedly given just four months’ notice to leave last November.

Weeks after they had left the property it had been re-listed, with the rent £700 a month higher than before, i paper reports.

A source close to the Labour MP for Bethnal Green and Stepney told the i the occupants were told their fixed-term tenancy would not be renewed and offered a rolling contract while the house was on the market, but chose to leave.

The property returned to the renters’ market for £700 more a month than the previous rent when a buyer could not be found.

Ms Ali has previously spoken out against 'private renters being exploited'.

She has also said the Labour government would 'empower people to challenge unreasonable rent increases'.

The government’s upcoming Renters’ Rights Bill will prevent landlords who have ended a tenancy to sell a property, from re-listing it with higher rent until six months or more after its occupants have left.
Am I missing something?

Lease ran out.
Rate went from 3300 to 4000. Perfectly reasonable.
Given 4 months notice.

What is controversial?

A Connecticut man decapitated his landlord with a sword after being told he had to move out because of overdue rent, Hartford police say.
Without reading, we now live in a time where landlords should never, under any circumstances, be allowed to increase rent on tenants. They’re also expected to eat the cost when tenants refuse to pay rent, and evictions should be illegal.
<lmao>

It's a mackem on the wind-up. Can tell by the way he says 'compete'.

From 1975 through 1980 the Yorkshire Ripper murdered at least 13 women and attempted to murder ten others. Troublingly, police were distracted by a man who we now know falsely claimed to be the Yorkshire Ripper in three letters and a cassette tape recording between 1978 and 1979.

Dubbed 'Wearside Jack' by the British press, this hoax led police to pursue suspects who possessed the Wearside/Geordie accent unique to the Castletown area of Sunderland revealed on the cassette tape. They also ignored other stronger suspects including the actual Ripper himself, Peter Sutcliffe, who was questioned by police on nine separate occasions, because he did not have a Geordie accent.

Yorkshire police ended up investigating over 40,000 men and spending over £1 million on a nationwide publicity campaign that included ‘Dial-the-Ripper’ hotlines, 5,000 billboards, and advertisements in over 300 newspapers. Most disturbing of all, an additional six women were murdered because of the hoax.

In 2006, John Samuel Humble was convicted of perverting the course of justice and sentenced to eight years in prison for the Wearside Jack hoax. Ultimately, Humble was caught because of DNA evidence collected from one of his envelopes. But there was also a linguistic DNA contained inside of those envelopes and on that cassette tape which D.A.T.A. can analyze.

The stereotypical rat that people think of, the black 'mediaeval/plague' rat, has largely been driven out of the UK by its different-coloured rival (a situation paralleled in other contexts).

Over the years the Black Rat (Rattus rattus) has become an increasingly rare species within the United Kingdom. It has found itself displaced by the Brown Rat (Rattus norvegicus) in almost all of its previous habitat. Extensive eradication efforts and changes in food storage practices have also lead to the decline in this species. This has caused the Black Rat to become incredibly rare in the UK. From what I've seen nobody really seems to care either as it's 'just a rat', and a vermin species commonly associated with spreading disease.

Sheryl Crow vibes. Do you like Sheryl Crow? 🤔 Imo she was the best of that crop of 90s/2000s, alternative/sarcastic etc female pop rock singers. Crow, Alanis Morissette, Natalie Imbruglia, Merril Bainbridge, Joan Osborne etc. I don't like KT Tunstall but she probably belongs in that list too.

Prediction

@Da Speeit Mackenzie Dern has to financially maintain her ex husbands lifestyle because he doesn't have a job after the divorce.

#equality #LMAO
honestly, it's pretty fucked up in her case considering that he was a pro-surfer and doesn't compete anymore since she's paying him.

Not really about specific players/clubs, rather profile of player.

I hear what you're saying. I just don't think we're in a position to get those types of players now. The season is about to start. We've tried with strikers this summer but it has been an absolute failure.

We need a few in who can hit the ground running; we're weaker than we were last season. A few short-term, affordable, solid players until this mess behind the scenes is sorted is what we need, imo.

I'd take a few 7/10 players rather than spend big on someone who is a risk and may take a while to get going. We're a shambles ATM.

Juventus are interested in signing Sandro Tonali and are ready to offer Dusan Vlahovic in a potential deal that could also include Douglas Luiz or Nicolo Savona + a fee if needed. Juventus knows that Newcastle needs a striker and wants to take action.

How nice of Juventus, helping Newcastle in their hour of need.
