Some people just seem to fail upwards

Loan with no obligation.

Barca basically get a free hit with him.

Said for years he was not elite, but at his best he can be useful for any team in the world. Certainly not crazy to think he can have a good season there.

Hell, look at Raphinha. Couple of solid but not spectacular seasons with Leeds. Underwhelming first two seasons with Barca, where they tried to replace him with Nico. Then last season produced a season where people talk about him as a potential Balon bore candidate.

Was a good wee friendly match for us. Got to get the fitness up. Btw Newcastle fans on here I got a question. What happened to Isak? Was he injured?

You were way sharper than us. We got battered

Isak isn't injured; he trained this week. He, Joelinton, Livramento and Hall were all rested. Isak and Joelinton both had surgery recently.

Lfgggg!! @Boxeo12 @Liam Fraser 🟢⚪

KT bless, the Celtic shirt looks 🔥

Glad to have him back. We just got to manage him well. Forget he's got really good deliverly. Greg Taylor who was basically our most played LB since KT left has lacked good crossing. Could put one in every once in a bit but not on the level of KT.

Aye. Scotland have had a beer ban at grounds since the 1980 Scottish Cup Final riot. In hospitiality I think you can get but outwith that Scottish Goverment won't budge on the ban.

Didn't realise it was banned. Loads of Toon fans were whinging about it today 😁

Some of mates were saying they couldn't get a pint in the ground, is that true? no beer for the away fans :(

At least ScotRail have lifted the alcohol consumption ban on their trains (whether in Scotland or not) - between 10 and 9.

That ban was extraordinarily homosexual.

A ban on alcohol in Scottish football stadiums is to be lifted as part of a pilot scheme.

Arbroath, Ayr United, Queen of the South and Stirling Albion have confirmed they will allow a limited number of home fans at upcoming league cup fixtures to drink alcohol in designated areas.

St Mirren are also understood to be participating in the scheme, as are two other unnamed clubs.

The SPFL said it hoped the pilot would improve the 'matchday experience' of fans.

Alcohol has been banned in Scottish football stadiums since 1981.

Despite the trial, the government said it has no plans to change the rules.
