United - weird start, weird lineup but a great result. Some decent attacking, some horrible mess-ups, but it is easy to see a bit of pattern building already under Amorim. Pleased for Zirkzee, still think he's a bit of a dud but he did well today. Diallo playing amazingly. Everton though, are in trouble. Big trouble looking at their December fixtures.

Think Arsenal give us a beating this week mind, 3-1 or 4-1 or something, but I'm not too arsed - we're not capable of beating those sides yet, almost feels like a bit of a free hit to be honest. Forest at home on the weekend is a big litmus test though - decent side.

The Scum have won this league already IMO. Momentum and confidence through the roof. Citeh are in fucking freefalll!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, have to enjoy a result like that, but truth be told 4-0 was a bit flattering. Only difference between this and games we've lost earlier in the season is we we were hugely clinical in front of goal and the opposition wasn't.

Really glad Zirkzee and Rashford got the goals, and hopefully will be a catalyst to better things, but still don't think either looked wholly comfortable.

Just have to hope this becomes the norm and is not the outlier.

Fully expect to come crashing down on Wednesday. Outside of stupid red cards, at their best think Arsenal have looked at least as good as Pool this year.......just not had the fortune.

It is terrible time to be united fan Liverpool is completely ignoring red side of city heck whole Europe does lol. But seriously club with out depth got bought basically by man united it self and put all that depth on club and not owner. But glazers are there to milk man u more new guy Radcliffe is there to have a toy to play with it is circus. It is like Inter in 90s so many coaches went through so many players great ones at that and they never won anything. This Amorim guy might bring calmness he is not really praising or criticizing players so might help with player concentration and expectations

Honestly, I think this season is gonna be a case of battering the smaller teams and mildly battered by the big teams - which I will accept for Amorim's first season, because we could still finish top 4-6 like that.

Yeah, think 4th to 8th will basically be decided by who fucks up the least against the lesser teams.

Work event in Mayfair for us tonight. Set up by our lead. He’s really nice, one of the few nice people I’ve met in his position. All drinks are on him :eek:
