Need some input for my wife's work, figured you guys are a good group to ak;

How, if at all, has your way of following sports or what you follow changed over the last few years (or more), with more things available online?

Example – watching fewer live baseball games and watching more highlights on-demand on YouTube…

I killed my TV 3 years ago. Now I stream/youtube everything. The BBC's gone too far pushing its agenda that I ain't funding it. Sky, BT & Virgin are all rip-off merchants, not to mention the lesser known providers. Everything's available online and all those actors/witers/directors/musicians/athletes are still making bank.

Hmm. It's an open question but... YouTube and such actually got me into MMA back when DC was in Strikeforce. So I'd say these platforms like YouTube / Dailymotion / Twitter where you're able to see snippets of events (highlight reels / clips or just a specific fight) is basically the best advertising tool you can have nowadays.

Think what I'm trying to say is with new platforms it's not just a case of "Oh I'm watching Sky Sports tonight and they're showing Tennis". Whereas now in 2017 I'm able to sit at my desk as I type this and watch a Pool tournament from the other side of the world via YouTube or scroll on Twitter and be introduced to a completely new Sport that's been RT'd by someone I know etc.

I no longer/very rarely watch match of the day and just select matches, online, from around the world that I heard were good. Barely watch live football anymore, but that's more because I don't have as much time.

Gazwald don't you swan back in here expecting things to be normal. You're a bigot that really pushed the boundaries earlier.

But yeah we got away with that one!
