It seems like the teams that actually can win the Prem usually don't care about the FA Cup, ManCity played with a B11 in the semis or quarters the other year lol. Having two cup competitions doesn't help either, but this discussion comes up every year.

Last time the FA cup winner also won the Prem was Chelsea in 2010. City was in the final in 2013 and were second in the league, but 11 points behind.

Those two examples are weird as Mainz is pretty decent usually and at least plays for EL places despite not having much money. Eibar is also decent this season.

But I know what you mean.

Even though I think it kinda is the other way around to be honest. The Prem's bottom teams are significantly better than the soanish, italian or german ones due to having much more money. They usually play a good ball imo.

What the Prem doesn't have anymore is one straight up world class team like Buyern, Juve, Barca or Real. They will obv get there again, soon tbf.
