Not scared, it's out there, just not getting a lot of attention because it's not as headline grabbing as a lot of other things going on right now

Haven't had much time to read the news the last couple days. If the media folk were arrested for simply being present and covering riots, it's absolutely absurd, illegal, and will get thrown out.

Often times, we don't get both sides of the story, though--so if it's a case of some documentary filmmakers who were instigating violence for better footage, I don't have a problem with it.

Disagree a bit. As technology makes camera smaller and cheaper and more independent news sources pop up, I don't think police can really tell who's actually a reporter so much anymore and if they give them benefit of the doubt it might be exploited by troublemakers. That said, once it was established they were legit charges should have been dropped and the reporters released
