@Bubzeh goes on about women's rights yet supports a team that has zero women players.

Fucking fraud.

Think you'll find I support Sheffield FC Ladies and attend their matches regularly to enjoy and encourage the wonderful women that grace the field.

We finished this season in 5th spot in the FA WSL 2 league. Credit to Doncaster Rovers Belles for winning the title, they were head and shoulders above the rest. Also fair play to Millwall Lionesses who were unlucky not to go up.

What do you think of Fabinho? I was surprised they went with him, seeing that they already have Keita coming in. Fierce competition in midfield. 'Pool are looking strong.
As far as what DM's were available in the market, Klopp has overachieved in getting him, imo. So few quality DM's around at his age & he has far more experience under his belt than Kimmich in the position.

He's a better DM than Hendo, who was never a natural fit there but never complained. Hendo as a CM with less defensive responsibilities will prolly now attempt to be their Kroos. Not sure whether he can pull it off but he's been selfless for the Club playing out of position so has earned the shot.

Keita's a different kinda player. He'll be competing with Ox for the b2b starters job.

Banter aside.

I recently lost my uncle at the young age of 65 due to a heart attack, it came a bit of a shock but I seen him a week before and could tell he was sick. He didn't go to the doctors even though his kids told him to.

So I hope the fathers in here like @Sebbe @Dr J @Clear Winner @Rebelfett and even the older folk like @blokeybloke @WEO that if you lads aren't feeling well you go and get that shit checked out instead of trying to be man and fight through it.

I know you lads aren't close to 65 but that shit snuck up on him and it's shocked everyone as he was the core of the mothers side of my family.

Love all you lads and would hate to see something happen to any of you.

Xoxo
On monday a customer died at work, around same age. Collapsed without a warning, was on some sort of heart meds (found later on)

Is this the most loyal man in football? Parma's captain stayed with them without being paid after they were demoted to Italy's fourth tier - and then kept promise to lead them back to Serie A, aged 41

Gianluigi Buffon, Fabio Cannavaro, Lillian Thuram, Hernan Crespo, Juan Sebastian Veron, Gianfranco Zola, Enrico Chiesa, Hristo Stoichkov... the list of their world class former players goes on and on. But despite Parma's 105-year history, only one player's number has been retired - Lucarelli's No 6 shirt, confirmed by the club this week. The 41-year-old bows out as a true club icon and as football's most loyal player.

Easiest route to the final since United in 2011.
They were cheffing Real up until Salah had to go off.

No depth killed them. Salah their only outlet. Why they desperately need another runner in behind, more than a new GK or CB.

Sevilla & a bunch of Swiss yodellers made your lot look like west fucking brom

Time to write a new chapter - Ferdinand urges Bale to make Premier League return
resize

Gareth Bale should consider leaving Real Madrid and returning to the Premier League, claims former Manchester United star Rio Ferdinand.

Manchester United great Rio Ferdinand suggested Gareth Bale should leave Real Madrid in the close-season, claiming Old Trafford would be a suitable destination.

Bale scored twice against Liverpool to help Madrid to a third successive Champions League title - with the Welshman having initially started on the bench, as often has been the case this term under Zinedine Zidane.

The former Tottenham star made it clear in his post-match interviews that he was unhappy at not starting more often, indicating a move away from the Santiago Bernabeu could be possible.

And Ferdinand believes that Bale may well have achieved all he can do in Spain, claiming a return to the Premier League would be an ideal move for the 28-year-old.

"Four Champions League winners' medals, three Champions League finals goals - what more is there to do at Real Madrid for Gareth Bale?" Ferdinand wrote on Instagram.

"He was brought there to eventually take over the mantle as the team's talisman from Cristiano Ronaldo, but the Portuguese megastar has not played ball with that idea.

"But what he has done is produce magic moments on the big stage - in finals, and played a vital role in this record-breaking squad led by the great Zidane.

"Now I feel it's up to him to decide what he wants. Some will say he has nothing to prove but does he want to go somewhere and be the main man and take on the full responsibility of a club who want to win?

"Or does he want to remain and continue in the role he is in now, as the supporting cast? Personally I would love to see him come back to the Premier League (preferably with Manchester United).

"Write a new chapter as a leader of a club, the go-to guy at all times, the icon... this is what the greats do in all sports, not just football. It elevates them."

Bale finished 2017-18 with 21 goals and eight assists from 39 appearances for Madrid in all competitions.

Sorry for your loss, mate.

Lost an Uncle myself a cpl mths back.

He was leaking blood out of every hole & had to have a transfusion once a mth. Didnt stop the alley cat from going to Benidorm(without insurance) & partying up a storm. Came home & his tongue was black!!!

Was prolly his last gift to himself, tbf. He'd lost all fight & the will to live.

once the heart fails, it's pretty hard to go back to normal.

assume the meds were to help reduce the strain on it, but once it goes, it goes.

So nobody turns on Ramos when he forces Rafa out of Madrid but as soon as he topples over a Muslim he's hailed as a monster?

Cba with you lot.

Thrashing them 0-0, yeah.

Bringing United into a conversation about Liverpool for no apparent reason? Okay, Rashford is shit and Klopp's boys made him look like prime Henry.
