In my 20s this would've been the case. I accepted her flaws when I got with her, they were plain to see. Couldn't hate her, wouldn't want to. It just didn't work out in the end. She was getting quite controlling when shit started to get rocky, so I'm looking forward to some freedom and head space.

Meh, I know guys older than me who fall in love when a woman shows them the slightest bit of attention. Even put on an obviously fake persona because they believe women to be a different species who need to be conquered through dishonesty. When I say chill the fuck out and be yourself they look at me like I'm talking a foreign language. Then when their relationships end in the first month because they're too clingy- Guess who's got to listen to them cry for 3 weeks about how "She fucked me over etc. She's probably fucking some other guy right now sob sob." So fucking cringe.
