Just saw that this Chong guy already got mugged off at Bremen @Sexy @Rowntree @LEWIS540 @Dr J

Chelski should return Pulisic to us, cunts are not good for him.

He was not very good, honestly. I think that was his last chance. If he is not good enough for Bremen, there is no way he is good enough for United. Maybe he will do better at Club Brugge.

Never been impressed with Chong, to be honest. Nowhere near good enough for a big club, not even as a bench option.

Forgot it was transfer deadline day. Liverpool have signed Ben Davies from Preston and are also targeting some Croatian CB I've never heard of, with an unusual name for a Croat.

Crucial game tomorrow for United, fucking crucial if we want to remain roughly in the title picture.

DDG; AWB, Lindelof, Maguire, Shaw; Fred, McTominany, Pogba, Fernandes; Cavani, Rashford.

SUBS - VDB (10mins), Matic (15mins), Martial (10mins).

United 2 - 1 Southampton (Rashford, Fernandes)

Gary Neville says Frank Lampard should be the 'LEAST surprised' over his ruthless Chelsea sacking, pointing out that he was part of a squad who 'rang up the media to get Andre Villas-Boas sacked'

Lmao, Nev going IN

Liverpool looking like signing Ozan Kabak from Schalke. Weirdly, a little while ago this guy was highly rated but reading the forums at the moment it seems like he's gone downhill rapidly in recent times and isn't rated anymore?

I immediately wanted to know how much he makes for them. Just jersey sales, image rights (does Barca get a cut?), posters, and other non-football things must represent a huge chunk-o-change. I couldn't go to a youth game in Virginia without seeing a Messi jersey or 4. I would bet even money none of those kids ever saw Messi play even on TV here.
He brings in over 300mil in revenue every year. He is more than worth it and they would be completely irrelevant without him now. It is because of stupid transfer fees paid to useless players over the last half decade by Fartomeu that have caused this.
How is that broken down?
Do they quantify a % of ticket sales, TV ratings, league standings, trophies, or the ability to attract other top players?

Barca only get a small % of those shirt sales.......there's a reason Nike/Adidas etc pay 100m per year+ for the shirt rights.

The notion that "player x will pay for himself with shirt sales", is largely a myth.

Remember they said that Pogba would pay off his 90m fee in shirt sales.....it was worked out United would have to sell around 10m EXTRA shirts solely because of Pogba for that to be true.
