Im actually trying to sign him up for Olympic Development Tryouts this October. We'll see tho. Hes also going into his freshman year of high school so hes trying out for the HS team.

Ive also tried looking how to get him into some trials with English based teams. Starting that process soon.

Team he's going to now, AC Connecticut, has a USL team so he'll atleast get looks from them.

as for me, im good. Just working. Nothing exciting really going on. Started a diet and running and biking. Too many beers have caught up to me and i feel/look slobbish
Sounds good! Enjoy the process innit whatever happens.

BOISTTTTTTT. Glad to hear mate. I wanna get into biking. And same for me, the last 3 years have been the worst for me in terms of my fitness. Whenever I have built some good momentum and get into a routine my luck gets me ill/injured/bogged down with work shifts and I'm back at the start. WE GO AGAIN.

We had mixed feelings about ODP this year. It’s not what it was back when we were kids. In terms of elite competition, there are other avenues for that, whereas ODP was the highest level back then. I feel my son got a good bit out of the training sessions. Practicing with a team full of the state’s best players for sure sharpened his skills. My son broke his knee cap and kissed most of the season, though. The one we went to in Ohio was a bit of a mess with too few coaches and putting kids who had never even practiced together on the same teams. Other than, that, we hope to give it another go this year. My soon to be 13 year-old and 11 year-old will try out for their teams, and my 9 year-old daughter will be trying out for an age group up.

This week, all 5 are at Barca camp. We’ll see how this goes.
