Do you know what - I'm okay with this.

There isn't a single standout option out there to immediately replace him. He's just won his second cup in two seasons. I say give him a final shot - take all transfer responsibility away from him and the new suits we've hired can show what they're made of. If there's no improvement, sack him next summer and replace him. I'm happy to give him a final season now, especially if it means no fucking Southgate.

Problem is we're apparently pretty handcuffed financially.

We kinda need 4-5 players, but when everyone is gonna cost at least 50m, we're gonna struggle. You hear Branthwaite for 70m and the Portuguese lad, Joao Neves, for 100m. Just seems madness.

Whole football financial situation is beyond fucked/confusing.

Why likes of Tosin at Fulham and Kelly at Brentford going to Chelsea and Newcastle for free are really astute. Probably not game changers, but a welcome boost, for sure.

Equally guys like Osihmen and Olisie signing new contracts 12 months ago, with the idea they'll be sold a year later at a higher price......yeah, fuck that.
