PREDICTION: Conor McGregor Vs Nick Diaz at UFC 209

Waiting for the April fool's punchline from TS.

Are you kidding me? Nick walks around at 265! This would truly be a David vs. Goliath match!

Nick Diaz vs Robbie Lawler is the fight to make
Both entertaining as fuck
The fans want it
It's best for business

Conor will get slapped around by the OG Diaz brah
Nate should fight Eddie Alvarez on the same card if possible

Nick Diaz's best win in TEN years was against an undersized BJ Penn that dominated him in the first round and then gassed. He has zero business being in any title picture.

another time NOT defending a belt?

I think it's completely likely

Clearly people would say this if Conor fought Anthony Joshua.

Who gives a shit about defending the belt? A belt that was just held by Henderson(cant win in Bellator), Pettis(cant beat anybody), Dos Anjos(pulled out against Conor, destroyed by Alvarez), Alvarez (embarrassed back to Bolivia).

My God, the sanctity of the 155 belt will be completely tarnished if the champion fights a bigger, more dangerous man from a different weight class............. and the top contenders have to actually fight each other to prove themselves....................................

So if Conor wants Woodley at 170 or Bisping at 185, he's a bad 155 champion because he's not defending the belt? What if he wants Cormier?

Why is it so important to you that the champion fights the person that the UFC has told you is ranked 2nd best, in their division?

The reality is, in most cases anybody in the top ten could beat anybody else on any given night. In some divisions, there are contenders that are clearly above the rest, and those guys almost always get their shot. But then there's times when it's not as definitive, and you can have someone like Garbrandt move up to a title shot. And in reality he's just as dangerous and deserving as everyone above him.

But for you, if a guy wants to challenge himself against someone who's considered to be more dangerous than anyone in his division's top ten, he's still ducking. Maybe you're right.. Canelo should just defend the light middleweight title forever and never go up 6 pounds to fight GGG. Now that's how a champion competes.................

how fighting nick is the same at fighting the WW champ or MW champ?

the champion NEEDS to defend the belt. that's why he's the champ, to defend the belt. he can't have other fights, unless it's for another belt

there's no reality, that's just your opinion. tell me why gsp aldo fedor and jon jones went YEARS undefeated?

this is MMA, not boxing. legit belts and divisions. boxing is a mess with thousands of belts. UFC, not

At welterweight, Stockton ain't getting near ma boys gold.

huge if true

just depends on if Conor really wants to be away from the sport

I doubt Conor will ever fight a real WW that is not the champ.

He struggled with Nate in his second attempt. He would die vs Nick.
Struggled in the 2nd fight? Lol you're a moron . Conor barely broke a sweat and made hamburger meat of nates face plus dropped him what 3-4 times? Lol oh Sherdog

If that happens, the trash-talk leading up to it would be nothing short of epic. That being said,

Nick Diaz brutally executes McGregor any way he wants. It would be the first live execution of another human being broadcast on American PPV.

And I wouldn't miss one second of it.

If you don't want to defend a belt, don't fight for one.

It represents the pinnacle of a division and everyone is working towards it. If you don't defend it, the division suffers.

Diaz is going to fight Lawler.

I don't see Conor taking non-title fights at this point.

Nate vs Cowboy 2 would be nice.

He won a MD. If you don't consider this struggling then you are the moron.

"barely broke a sweat" yep you're a moron. Not even Conor would say that.
