I mean, I prefer the original design until its actually moving around. To me personally, the head crest in the Predator 2 fight just looks absolutely ridiculous. Not when its just staring into the camera or something, just when its moving around quickly. The proportion is just kind of absurd.
It would need to be, otherwise this girl power shit is out of control. We can't go from Arnold to Sanaa Lathan and Amber Midthunder and then Elle Fanning and have the same respect for the actual Predators. The first one took on Arnold and a gang of buff trained soldiers.
Why do we need back stories for monsters? I'm not interested in the Predators backstory, he's a villain who fucks people up. They made him a protagonist now , but I can't see myself getting behind him, and that chick was already annoying enough in the trailer. It will probably be an improvement over the girl power Prey at least.
Not fan of the new Predator look but will definitely watch.
Prey was ok... the CGI parts... the rattlesnake and mountain lion... were off putting
Theres no humans in the movie (the human actors are synths). So all the blood and limbs are technically aliens, which makes it hard to get an R rating. Shitty as it was, AvP had impalemet, dismemberment, etc, it was just all green or acid blood.
The Predator was absolutely awful.... tried waaaaay too hard
I legit thought The Predator would kill the franchise it was that bad.
Mortal Kombat 95 kinda laid the blue print for how to sucessfully adapt a "Rated R" IP into a PG-13 format. A seemingly impossible task but they pulled it off
