How would the Silva before the Weidman fights have done against the current crop of MWs? Would he be as dominant as he was?

Romero, Rockhold, Whittaker and The Chris himself are all tough matchups. I'm not saying he would definitely lose them, but they would be far from easy.

Beat them all; if bisping can catch rock hold Anderson can, I don’t think Whittaker has much for prime as, Romeo is probably his biggest threat but over 5 rounds I think Anderson gets it done comfortably after a rough patch in round 2.

Loses to Weidman.

KO's Luke.

Whittaker, Romero and Jacare are toss-ups (although he would never have fought Jacare because they're on the same team).

Id go far as to say he would get decimated by the current Whittaker as Silva before Weidman 1 wasn't in his prime. He was already aged as hell.
Whittker's boxing and quickness would be too much for him.

OTOH, Silva would've wrecked Rockhold and wouldve probably had a tough time against Romero.

The only hard matchup is Romero. Whittaker, Luke etc would all get flatlined rather quickly. I'm thinking less than 2 rounds, that's all it would take for a prime Spider to KO them

It should be the mw division before gatekeeper Bisping pulled off upset of 185 history. There were 6 pound for pound monsters.......now, not so much

in a world that silva doesnt clown around or break his leg leben beats him as well as dennis kang

Andy is a much much better striker than all of them. problem is that they are all better grapplers and, most likely, physically stronger guys than him as well- I think anderson beats yoel ( he is an amazing wrestler but doesn't really have good top control), whittaker and rockhold (rockhold would eat him up if he ends on top, but he isn't known for his td's really). Weidman is a hard matchup. i can't imagine anderson and jacare fighting each other tbh

Anderson would likely lose to all of them. Strong grapplers with KO power

Prime Anderson KOs then all in under 2 rounds.

Beats Whittaker, Romero, and Rockhold and Weidman. Jacare is the only hard matchup. KO power, good takedowns and world class control and submissions

Ah, Perrichet, hating hard and bashing AS.

Mousasi would have given him a tough fight.
Prime Rashad (if he had dropped to MW) would have also been a very tough fight for Silva.

Otherwise, I don’t know if I’d favor Rockhold, Romero, or even Weidman against Silva at his best. I’d give GSP a better chance than those 3 guys.
Could see him dropping the first round against all of them though.
