@Ignicious have you ever done Døds? Edit: to say they belly flop is an exaggeration - they curl up at the last second.
Lol, come on man. That's a young mans game. I think the current record is a dødsing jump from 40 meter (you do the math).

When I saw the video you posted I immediatly thought of the bridge I cross twice a day. It is 22 meters tall. The video looked a llittle higher up

70 not 170!!!!!!!

Can't imagine any but the top level guys doing 170 feet.

Yeah, 40 feet wasn't easy on the body, can't imagine the really high ones.

Unless the cliff is like 500-1000m, doubt your hitting terminal velocity!!!
Well I estimated the height in the video as 170' but it seems like it was quite a lot less, as that is about the record for jumping into water. And when people do that they use bubbles and water jets to soften the surface tension. Also apparently it takes about 1,500' to hit terminal velocity in the belly flop or starfish position. So although every foot of height added accelerates you less, it also brings you closer to a damaging level of deceleration. Adding height would only stop mattering well above the height it's safe to jump from.

The idea the new team were moving away from EtH's recent transfer strategy.....3 of 4 signings are literally the definition of the old EtH ie he had them at Ajax or they are Dutch.

Pretty weird.

De Ligt, Martinez, Yoro, Lindelof/Evans/Maguire ain't too bad, though.
He brought in half his Ajax starting 11—De Ligt, Martinez, Antony, Onana, and now Mazraoui. Pretty surprised Liverpool beat him to Gravenverch.

Heights never seem that high, until you're up there.

Even the high diving board (10m, I believe) is pretty terrifying the first few times, and that's in a safe, controlled environment.......no idea how many people break bones or worse doing it off cliffs, but can imagine it is not uncommon.

.......only a matter of time until de Jong signs, too.

Pretty odd he had no interest in Donny van der Beek.
