Arteta has cooked our team. Fuck sake

Guy is actually in a really tough spot. Clearly done a really good job, but if the object is #1 how many times until #2 is seen as failure?

We saw even Klopp’s Liverpool, which was better than Arsenal imo, struggled to keep consistent facing the Man City juggernaut, and had a couple of shocking seasons during their recent run.

Still think Arsenal are the clear 2nd favourites, but a bit of a drop off would not surprise me.

Could say the same for City though, too. First time in ages they don’t feel as invincible as before.

Either way I doubt/ hope whoever wins ends up with the 90+ points we’ve seen in recent times.

We need a striker and if this prick doesn’t get us one I want him sacked by Christmas. He’s wasted so much of our transfer money on unnecessary signings

I don't know......seems very much a "bloke down the pub" type comment. "Dur, Havertz/Jesus is shit, imagine if we had Haaland!!!!". Often is not as simple as that.

Arsenal have scored a shit tonne these last 2 seasons (close to City's numbers even), and it's always better to spread them about, imo. Lots of clubs have done well without the traditional #9 in recent seasons.

Look what happened when United brought in Ronaldo.......completely fucked up the dynamic of the rest.

When Arsenal got rid of their big name striker, Aubameyang, they markedly improved, despite him always being a consistent scorer.

Maybe the squad needs a cheapish, fox-in-the-box type (think Javier Hernandez), but I'd think twice before going big on someone like Osihmen

I just feel we could be even better minus his ass decisions. 65m on Havertz who offers us nothing. The guy is the deadest baller I’ve ever seen. And 35m on viera who wouldn’t get into a league 2 side. We need a winger and a striker imo. Martinelli and saka can’t be relied upon for a whole season. Martinelli especially, he’s been found out.

You've pushed City, one of the greatest club sides ever, really close for 2 years straight, coming from back to back 8th seasons when Arteta took over. Not sure what more you can expect.

Havertz was decent enough last season, and seems to fit the system.......Arteta also brought in likes of Gabriel, White, Odergaard.

Some times you have to accept these guys probably know more than you, otherwise you end up like those spastics on Arsenal Fan TV.

We’ve bottled it two years straight too, that stems from the manager who’s on £7m a year and who has spent £750m since he took over. I’ve been watching football for a long time and played football manager over the years. Pay me £7m a year and give me those funds and I’d win a trophy. Make no mistake about that. Am I a prick!?

Mbape sucks Vinny monkey around and biggest misfit will be Bellingham

Get weird vibes with Bellingham. He's clearly good but can't shake the feeling he's peaked way too soon and ends up back at Dortmund or someone like Spurs in 2yrs.

No idea how tomorrow night goes, will miss it anyway. And UFC 305 too.

Thinking 2-1 United

They didn't bottle shit last year. City was in clear control the whole time.

Bollocks did you bottle it, especially last year. You won 16, drew 1 and lost only once on your last 18 games

The standards set by City are just impossible.

Not a prick no, just an Arsenal fan…..

I dispute that, too.

If the ref had given the penalty against them vs Liverpool it would have been a different story.

Fact is, living in a time when if you go away and drop points to good sides, it’s seen as a major blow in a title race…..which is ridiculous and shows the Prem isn’t as good as some like to pretend.

Title should be won with 80-85 points not 95!
