Pre Champ(GOATNESS) Jones autograph worth anything?

It isn’t worth as much as a Jones autographed .22 caliber Glock, a jones autographed tequila bottle, or a jones autographed pair of stripper titties (those cost 10k b4 the signature)
 
It’ll be worth a lot more if Jones ever wins the HW strap.

Double champ Jones becomes the undisputed GOAT imo.

Especially when its something you didnt already have in the first place. It's so stupid. Like if you are a fan of fighter it would be cool to take a picture or something, but I would never ask for an autograph, who cares??

I got Khabib's autograph by accident lol

When i attended his seminar, we were given a kind of postcard with the cover of the event, and he had signed all of those ahead of time.

Fully agreed. Some friends went to Chino Moreno and Max Cavalera after a great double concert to get autographs. I really fucking lost respect.

They stood 1 hour in a line to get a piece of paper noone cares about while I got shitfaced starting shit with some belgian people, haha.

Like itd be cool to meet them, but the autograph shit is just ugh.

That dude Jim Norton is Obsessed with autographs, he's one of those who are psychotic about getting them.

There was this one dude who would go to metal shows and he'd drive to a concert with like 20 + vinyls and CDS of every band he had shit of, and try to get it all signed.

Dude seems off. But he's a bad comedian, always a strange bunch.

Yeah that’s a bit much. Back when I was a teenager, we’d go to lots of concerts and make a point of bringing something to get signed, try and meet whomever it was we were seeing and have them sign whatever. It wasn’t even for purposes of autograph collecting, or trying to sell it, we were just musician nerd kids and the autograph was a sort of tangible reminder of meeting whatever band it was.

I’ve lost most of those over the years, that’s a real bummer. A couple of those autographs are ones I really wish I still had.

I saw Soullive at a small venue back in the day about 15 ish years ago. (Tremendous show- truly elite musicianship)

Anyway... I memorized the keyboard players name and went to the backstage area and confidently said

"Hey what's up my man. I'm childhood friends with Neal Evans and he said I could hang out backstage and he would meet me in the green room after the show."

Zero hesitation, dude didn't ask anyone, didn't check a list, nothing, just let me in their dressing room with my homie.
I was shocked at how EASY it was.. then tempted to steal their laptop because it was a sweet MacBook and knowing they are genius musicians I bet it had great software and probably amazing music on it but I decided that would be bad karma.

(True to the best of my 15ish year old memory+ not sober at the time . 🤞)
