They've found a way to do away with all the "boring" and time consuming technique of boxing, grappling, whatever actual combat arts has to offer while people waited for a finish. It's just hold still and cause concussions. Why human cockfighting had so much resistance but this seems to be freely accepted by commissions and politicians alike. I'm sure the right hands were greased before this was even given the green light to take center strage.

Wow. I was about to make the same topic.

Personally, I'm divided. While they are combat sports athletes of the highest caliber, it is still somewhat different from full on mixed martial arts. I'm not sure its own forum would legimitize or deligimiliitatize the sport. Tough call on sherdog.com for sure.
