My point was neither party had a clear message and it showed up in the polls. He said that most people voted for Hillary, and said that to imply that the democrats ran on something besides identity politics. Judging by that link, most people didn't vote for Hillary because whatever message the democrats were trying to get across didn't work.

Don't try to lie your way out of your stupid point by pretending you never fucking said it. It's unseemly. And your new try, that the "identity politics" of Hillary was unpopular, is also shot down by the point that she handily won the popular vote. It's not as if the right wing identity politics were more popular. It was pretty close, like it usually is, and decided by the distribution of a very small portion of votes. You're just really bad at this and you don't have your thoughts together. Regroup and get back on the turnip truck. The real failure in the presidential election was not unpopularity, it was underestimating the resources necessary to win the rust belt, low education white vote.

It absolutely was unpopular. The majority of people voting were going to vote one way or the other. She lost because she couldn't get people who don't/aren't voting off the couch and Trump did just enough to win. I don't see how this is even debatable? I mean she was so unpopular she lost to a man who was caught on tape talking about grabbing women by the pussy among all the other shit swirling around his campaign. I would even guess a large portion of democratic voters voted Hillary not because she inspired them, but because they were anti-Trump. Don't know where you got I'm lying from you dork.
