POTUS attacks Congress on twitter

You guys are delusional , you make it sound like only people on the left voicing concern over this and that is far from the case.

You should face facts and recognize that the White House is in shambles Trump's approval rating keeps heading in the wrong direction, that's no one's fault but his own
True, but the Russia hysteria is hurting the left as much as it is the right. The whole "attack on our democracy" is getting old. A bunch of twitter bots and fake Facebook news posts swung the election? Fucking man up and admit you lost and do better. Stop blaming everything around you or you're going to lose the next election and find something else to blame. The majority of America wants what's best for the country and you can't blame people for voting for Trump when they thought he would be the best option. Hillarys message was non-existent. I'll be honest, if a democrat had a clear and viable message that went beyond identity politics and they could articulate their message and lay out why they're the best option for the U.S. I would gladly vote for them. Until then talk to moderates and the people who's opinion you need to sway, this shits getting old.

And it's just going to get worse. It's amazing to see the president of the US publicly choosing sides with the Russians over his own democratically (and mostly Republican) elected Congress and more amazing yet to see people defend him. Pathetic and scary.

If he loves Russia so much maybe he should step down as potus and move to Moscow. I'm sure he can make a killing with golden shower porn.

This seems daft.

The dems platform was based on Aca reform, raising living standards, environmental protection. I don't remember any identity politics that stood out from Hillarys campaign? Perhaps I'm missing something.

Remember that most people voted for Clinton, not Trump.

The idea that Trump had any coherent message beyond appealing to the least educated, lowest common denominator (Obamas a secret Muslim) crowd, is completely laughable.

I wonder how glad the Republican party is they choose victory over common sense.

I can understand poorly informed idiots voting for a guy who will lie through his teeth and promise the impossible but for a major party to support him was insane.

Unreal. Most people voted for Clinton? Lol. Might want to recheck that. Winning the popular vote by a few million isn't most people.

Dems platform- Trump is bad, vote for Hillary. If you vote for trump you're a - any kind of bigot in the book.

As far as your last statement, wake the fuck up. Half the country is uneducated, lowest commen denominator. You won't win an election spouting that bullshit because, you start lumping those people in you're going to start lumping in minority's. It's cool to think that California, Washington and New York media is going to win the election but you are what's wrong with the Democratic Party. You're so out of touch with real people it's laughable.

By most, I mean more than 50% of voters. Don't think that's controversial.

Dems platform as I mentioned was on ACA/healthcare reform and environmental protection. The fact that trump is unqualified and ignorant of history and constitutional politics perhaps should have been secondary, but again, acting like Trump had any coherent and rational message is ignorant.

I'm not American (I used to live there FWIW) but the idea I should be blamed for anything in the US is laughable. I believe in rational, data-supported political policy, and qualities such as credibility, leadership and intelligence. Can you understand why Trump is the opposite of all those things?

Imagine if President Obama had said "A lot of killers... There's a lot of killers. Do you think we're so innocent?"

He would've been impeached the next day, guaranteed.

He was making a point.

The US should make foreign policy decisions based on its national interests (which it does already, but that's another issue) rather than a pretentious moral high-ground unfounded in reality.

The house and senate are working against Trump in an attempt to hurt him, but so far it seems to have hurt them more than it has him. I think the president and congress would have higher support if they would actually pass some of his agenda, but they can't stand the idea of him winning reelection and that's why they won't work with him even when it comes to things they supposedly supported when they were running for office. I think Trump will be elected while many of these clowns will retire or lose when they are up for reelection.

I love that the majority of the people on this forum harbor more resentment towards Russia than the multiple genociedes going on in Africa, or any number of atrocities around the world. Leftists can call people who voted for trump any name they want, but you guys need to seriously look in the mirror. The Russia hysteria is becoming deranged and the more the left pushes this stuff the more moderates look at you unhinged loons and lean right... although even that line is blurred now as you aren't allowed to have an opinion anymore.

As childish as this, maybe?

I don't even know where to start with you guys...

http://brilliantmaps.com/did-not-vote/
  • As a percentage of eligible voters, Clinton received 28.43% (65,845,063) of all votes compared to Trump’s 27.20% (62,980,160) and Did Not Vote’s 44.37% (102,731,399).
71.57% of eligible voters either voted for Trump or didn't vote. "Most" people didn't vote for Hillary.
Maybe you should start with being able to understand that the person you originally quoted wasn't really making the claim that the majority of citizens voted for anybody. I'm confident that you actually knew that, but you went on in bad faith anyway, and now you're in a corner, looking dumb and bitchy, clinging to a completely meaningless point that could be used to reach all sorts of irrelevant conclusions that are worth nothing.

I'm almost certain McCain and a majority of Congress are right wing. It's a bipartisan position.

Russia is currently challenging your hegemony and influence around the world. They did it in Ukraine, in Georgia and now in Syria.

That's why it's a bipartisan issue. Election hacking and collusion are just noise.
