Who do you think would make a good next fight for Yair, after tonight?

I would honestly like to see him fight a top 20 veteran like Siver or Guida who can put him through his paces before he tackles anyone else in the top 15. Hacran Dias maybe, if he is going top 15. Top 10 fight, Bermudez might be good.

Thoughts?

Id say Gray Maynard.

Hes flashy.....but the way he was getting tagged, idk if Id want him to face someone in the 15 yet.

I say build him up more as a super prospect.

Pettis if wins the fight against Oliveira

Choi is closer to being ready than Yair. But judging from Yair's ability, dual language and marketability, the UFC will probably move him up way too fast. He needs 3 more fights with vs tough fighters. No need to rush him because, he's not ready for the elites just yet.

Darren Elkins or Myles Jury ... some veterans that'll test his skill out who have decent stand up and good grappling.

He has plenty of time to come along. I agree with the OP. I'd look to put him in with a 15-25 guy

I would even say Yashabo would be a fun fight.

They both have flashy styles, and it would be erratic

Barao if he beats Nover maybe

Elkins makes most sense.
The way it looks to me at FW..
If you beat elkins, you may be
ready for the upper echelon..

He's a terrible out for those who
aren't ready for the top 10.
Especially with upholding cardio
in a predominantly clinch fight.
Great litmus test & a good chance
for yair to take a split in a tough
fight at home.
