BoxingScene.com has learned that James will battle Thomas Dulorme for the WBA’s interim welterweight title April 11 at The Armory in Minneapolis. James has won four fights in a row at The Armory dating back to April 2018.

FOX is expected to televise James-Dulorme as the main event of a multi-bout broadcast.

James (26-1, 12 KOs) and Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KOs), a Las Vegas resident raised in Puerto Rico, each will fight for a welterweight title for the first time.

Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) and Fox Sports have confirmed that local fan favorite James (26-1, 12 KOs), will battle highly ranked veteran Thomas Dulorme (25-3-1, 16 KOs), for the World Boxing Association’s interim welterweight title on Saturday, April 11 at the Minneapolis Armory.

The second WBA championship match pits Morrell Jr. (2-0, 2 KOs) against veteran Lennox Allen (22-0-1, 14 KOs). Morrell Jr. is the WBA’s No. 3 ranked super middleweight contender and Allen is the No. 1 contender.

eh crap main event for a FOX card.

WBA currently has 3 world welterweight champions. We dont need a FOUTH one

The April 11 event is the first of four nationally televised boxing shows coming to the Armory in 2020. Details of future cards will be announced at a later date.

In a sign that the Armory is stepping up in class, all four 2020 cards are scheduled to be televised on Fox – an especially big platform typically reserved for the network’s top boxing events.

Never even heard of this Morrel guy, 2 fights and already ranked #3 by the WBA?

Looked him up, nothing spectacular.

Thomas Dulorme is managed by Ryan Burton from Boxing Scene. lol at Boxing Scene has learned. They knew for awhile. Also, I guess it's "professional," but why did Idec break the story and not Burton?

thanks for the info

this was an ok fight, I was actually kinda looking forward to it. Neither guy offers much for Pac but htey might serve as an interesting test to Ortiz or Besputin as they build their ways up.
