Yes, everything he wrote was really dark. When he killed himself and people were shocked I just said....he's been writing incredibly dark music for almost 30 years.......

Lots of great tunes. BTW: he was murdered. It is impossible for someone to break 9 of their own ribs and then do what was done to choke him out. no fucking way. Anyways, here is my favorite dark one. I saw him solo two times. The first was from the third row in a small place. So funny, someone got the entire concert on tape and I was two rows in front of them. You can see the back of my head...LOL

That's a great one too and yeah it wouldn't surprise me if he was murdered but he was as dark as it gets. I saw him twice solo, once with soundgarden and about 5x with Audioslave in which he also wrote some dark stuff.

Nick Cave has so many dark & disturbing songs, then you read up on his life and it's like "fuck", and there's really nothing else to say.

For me it's Strange Fruit, especially once you know the story behind it and what it's about.
