Post Tax Break The National Debt Jumped Above 21 Trillion First Time Ever

Why care about something that only exists when a Democrat is in office ?

Don't you know the debt doesn't matter because a Republican is in office.

Holy crap, he's ahead of schedule

This is what happens when you sell out your country to private bankers who have no loyalty to any nation. When we gave them a monopoly on our cash and credit, what should we have expected?

Yeah, it was the "foreign bankers" that were behind the passage of these tax cuts. Not the top .5% of American citizens.

Has the debt ever gone down? Neither party is innocent, they both want more government spending.

But only one thinks that increased spending should come from debt and not taxes.

Trump and the Trumplicans could completely eliminate all tax burden from the top 1% and his idiot followers would still find a way to defend it.

When you elect a self proclaimed “king of debt” it isn’t surprising.

In 50 years people will look back on this era and see maybe one of the worst presidents to ever hold the office.

Thank you Ronald Reagan.

"About a year ago, President Trump pledged to eliminate the national debt "over a period of eight years." But for the first time in history, the national debt surpassed $21 trillion this week, according to the U.S. Treasury."

Not sure what you guys expect when a President is unfortunate enough to inherit a growing economy in a time of international goodwill, but obviously he's going to have to do a lot of borrowing to return America to economic recession and geopolitical uncertainty. Lots of dumb shits in this thread don't understand how debt works.
