Recently I lost my best friend Simba who was my partner in crime for 11 years. My sister and mom started volunteering at a no kill shelter after he died and it is so sad how many pets are just abandoned by their owners. We ended up getting this dog, its a family dog so he just kind of stays with any of us at any time (he basically has like 4 homes).
His name was Tito and the owners were called by the shelter and they didnt want him anymore. 6 year old Yorkie. We renamed him to Toto since we are in Kansas City and eventually his name turned into Tater somehow. He is completely different than my old dog who was a little white alpha male beast. Tater just wants to snuggle with everyone because I am pretty sure his last owners were assholes.
