Beating Manfio is an impressive win. Moret is underrated, I didn't think he beat Goiti but he was at least competitive against him which is impressive in itself.

Nah, beating a PFL champion or being a former PFL tournament winner should immediately move you up to the main roster instead of toiling on the Contender Series or TUF. And I don't even like either Manfio or Schulte.

Gotta look at the bigger picture on Moret though - he's 37 and was on a 2-fight skid, and was 0-3 in the UFC. Best case scenario is a short-notice replacement realistically.

Really like Saul after he lost on his attempt to get into UFC I sent him a message that I thought if he developed his ground game he would be a serious threat and was surprised he sent me a thank you. Dude knows he needs more fights to get better, if PFL ain't fighting him he needs to get fights elsewhere.

I was really high on Saul Rogers for a minute too, something I am usually not of Western European grappling heavy fighters. He never really developed though.

He had a bout booked in some regional show but he pulled out. Likewise, his stepmom is Julia Budd who had quite a bitter release from PFL

I think the 1 minute loss set him back a lot, especially since LW is one of the deeper weight classes around.

If "two fights a year" is actually anything to go by, most fighters that haven't made an appearance in PFL/Bellator soon, are likely no longer part of the roster.

That doesn't mean some of the well known names, but guys we know are depth. That's why this will ultimately never work in the end. You can't build new challengers with no depth.
