Finally, someone got rid of Outlaw and Hill zzzzz. Homasi is a fun fighter , he should have stayed, IMO.

Tokov left, too, btw.

Tokov is still with bellator and has a bout left. he was just allowed to take the one off in ACA since they don't have anything booked for him in the near future.

There is a big need of a solid #3 now on the sport …. PFL has the deep pockets is the #2 now …. But with over 100 new free agents … a 3 is highly needed … imo

So much for Donn Davis bringing everyone over.

EDIT: Also seems they're getting rid of PFL's WFW division so imagine lots of cuts there too. Maybe Pacheco?
Hope that means Cyborg too, still may get that Cyborg vs Kayla if Dana can ever forgive Cyborg lol...

PFL scraps women's featherweight division, replaces it with women's flyweight

and what of Claressa Shields

This might make the regionals or feeder leagues way more interesting. That's 100 decent to great fighters to sign, OK maybe 70 decent and a handful of great. Good names for up-and-comers and regional promoters to have on their card.

I have a gut feeling Coker will join RIZIN
He and Sak are two of the best eyes for talent in the game, and Coker is a good recruiter. Coker could get them some inroads into the West, and could facilitate the signings of some fighters leaving those Western orgs. These guys in the West will realize eventually that they'll get fights in Japan. No "one fight and then sit for almost two years," like ONE, or being pwnt in PFL tourney. RIZIN will fight you five times a year, if you stay healthy and kick the shit out of people, or go down trying. I think Coker having a role where he isn't the guy running the show, and only focusing on finding talent, and, possibly, brokering some kind of TV deal in the West, would benefit both Coker and RIZIN.

Outlaw is a good fighter but he's just not what you want if you're trying to build a promotion. You're not going to supplant the UFC so you should be aiming to be #2 and attract UFC fans who might be interested in watching more MMA. If that type of fan thinks "I'll tune into Bellator/PFL and see what it's all about" and the first thing they see is a Sidney Outlaw fight then they likely won't tune in again.
